July 2015 Update
It's been a pretty rubbish 10 months in terms of cycling but i'm finally back to it and training again. Late last summer as most of you know, I got Glandular fever which completely ended my cyclocross season before it really even started. I completed two races last season, both with the fever, however, under the impression I had a virus causing my tonsils to inflame.
Cross Season Has Started
Just a quick update on the start of the cyclocross season so far. It's been a bit of a weird start as after my first race at the Yorkshire round at Northallerton I came down with Tonsillitis on the Sunday night/ Monday, I went on to antibiotics for 10 days and it cleared. I then started back training for a week, before it again came back, a week before the first National Trophy of the year. I was given antibiotics to take if it didn't clear up after 3-4 days which it didn't so I started the course of antibiotics. I raced the National Trophy not feeling ill, but feeling tired because of the tablets.
